END OF BIKE TRIP

Well I suppose it had to happen some time,  the bike part of my solo adventure ended to-day as I dropped-off my bike at the Shipping Agents Warehouse. Great when a well planned adventure falls in to place with NO hick-cups. Nick van Zyl of Inter-sped Cape Town, found a shipping agent here in Houston who would store my bike and later in June crate her and load her onto a ship bound for Cape Town arriving early August. Once again I would like to thank Nick and Kimberly of Lynden International here  for all the help and patience in sorting out the shipping home of my bike.

Good news about the bike freighting. You must be quite saddle-sore so I guess the wait for your 'steed' to be returned to Cape Town is no bad thing - think of all the trips you can make to Die Hell in your Fortuna with enthusiastic tourists! Meanwhile, we have been chatting to Ria and hope to see you for dinner in Cape Town on Friday 10 June. Congratulations again on a mighty achievement - you've done us all proud. Much love, Jeni & Pam xxx

Hi Wallet. One adventure ends and the next begins. We dropped off Liefie at Cape Town Airport yesterday. The package is in good shape and looking forward to being unwrapped. Enjoy Key West and the southern most tip of continental USA. Have a beer on me in a New Orleans blues bar. So jealous. Safe Travels.

Hi Guys, just wanted to know where is Stan ? I think i might have gone to the same school as Stan, but I'm not sure. I went to Athlone boys high in Bez Valley in Johannesburg years ago.

I have been following your trip and it looks as though it was fantastic. Maybe you can contact me when you get back?

What about a book on the travels? It would make for great reading and could make you money. Talk to me when you get back.

BE safe, thanks for all the info.
All the best, George Selzer.
