The Time is now very short

Well guys the time has finally arrived. 18 Months ago I had this dream to ride from the most Southern point of South-America to Alaska with hardly any budget or idea whether it would be possible to do. After allot of pondering the idea was born to promote my current touring business and step up the pace.

At least one hundred "The Hell" trips had to take place to afford and bring my motorcycle trip from dream to reality. It was HELL.....but tomorrow the 7th of January 2011 I will complete the 106th trip to Gamkaskloof before departing for Cape Town en route to Buenos Aires Sunday morning.

Next week this time the Karoo heat and nonstop planning will be but a distant memory on another continent living our dreams.

Let's hope the river crossings and adventure we embark on will be as smooth as the one in Baviaanskloof
