Great to see the Dakar

Well after a wild noisy night in the disco capital of Argentina camp sites  and high winds got a few hours of sleep, we  now know our tents can handle the winds of Patagonia, got an early start to find the special stage of the Dakar, found it, was great to see the bikes & cars going past. I stopped  taking photo's of one of the cars only to hear our new found friends shouting "South African" it was Alfie Cox in a Nissan Bakkie coming past. Then we handed South for about 400km's found a nice Hotel on the side of the road, cheaper than a camp site in the long run, you get breakfast as well, after which we headed  south again and did another 730km's of very flat country, passing miles of Sonya beans & sunflower plantations. Had one police check point where they  wanted our passports, driver licences and even the bike papers, then found another small hotel for to night. Going to walk  to the town square and try and find some food hopefully a big steak.
